Wavosaur Version 1.0.0.8000 beta

Wavosaur is an audio editor with support for wav, aiff, iff, mp3 and raw binary files. It includes the standard editing features (cut, copy, mix, trim, normalize, fade in/out etc.) as well as loop point editing, synthesis generators, 3D and 2D spectrum analysis and more. Wavosaur also offers support for VST plugins, ASIO drivers, batch processing, stereo/mono conversion and more. All of this is a small executable that does not require an installation.

Pros: Small, standalone program; includes all basic editing functions and more

Cons: Filters and effects not yet implemented

Kantaris Media Player is the all-in-one media player that provides the best audio and video experience. Kantaris is an open-source alternative to Windows Media Player with similar GUI and features. Kantaris Media Player 0.3.6

Changelog

This version only contains one major new feature; support for non-western characters in subtitles. So now you should be able to use your Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, … subtitles with Kantaris.
Other improvements:
* Added subtitles size setting
* Speed up file loading
* Saving downloaded subtitles in the “kantaris\cache” directory instead of in the “temporary internet files” folder
* Double-clicking for full screen works again
* Hopefully fixed a bug caused by bass_fx.dll in Vista 64-bit ( I can’t test it)
* Fixed a bug with the listing of embedded subtitles
* Uninstaller now removes file associations
* Probably some more which I can’t remember right now.

Kantaris Media Player 0.4.0

Changelog

This release is mostly a bug fix release so no real new features but a few have been polished a bit. I’ve also made a zip package for those that don’t want to use the installer. The package is completely portable and can be run from an USB memory stick or similar. Also Kantaris has now been translated to several new languages
